We just wanted to drop you a line saying how impressed we were with a recent house move from Manthorpe to Grantham. The whole office booking contact and delivery of packing materials through to the important 2 moving days was pretty faultless. The team on the 2 days were brilliant - hard working, helpful and even with a sense of humour! They didn’t stop and worked quickly but with a great deal of care.

You were accommodating when I had to change the move date and your guys moved all our possessions from Lincolnshire to Devon with no breakages or damage. When they had finished they then volunteered to change things around if required.

We would very much like to express our sincerest thank to your moving team led by Connor.

Upon arrival they worked tirelessly to optimally pack the goods on the vehicle. I had mentioned that we had sought Barnes for their expertise in moving. The following day, their expertise was demonstarted. The flat wasnt on the first floor as we were told it was another floor. The staircase to access the flat was steep, narrow and invovled a tight turn. The team worked tirelessly to carry all our goods up the stairs, navigating the tight confines of the doorway as well. Only twice did they have to conced that they could not access the flat with a table and a bed. Instantly Connor produced a tool kit to enable the bed to be disassambled and had immedietly started to remove the legs off the table. Despite the temperture pushing close to 30 degrees they continued at a pace. They always went the extra mile and deserve especial praise - fantastic ambassadors for your company. Thank you to Barnes again. A suparb move.

With our house sale reaching exchange the day before Christmas Eve for an early January completion date we were doubtful of any success in getting to speak to a firm between the Christmas/New Year holiday period.

Not only did a member of staff answer the phone, but the gentleman was extremely helpful and courteous and an appointment was made for Mr Barnes to visit and provide a quotation. The service received from start to finish was extremely professional. From the first visit (no pushy hard sell) the drivers Danny and Dave arriving promptly on the day both extremely friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. We can honestly say the removal day was probably the least stressful aspect of our whole house moving experience!
