Nestled amongst the blooms at this year’s Lincoln Cathedral Flower Festival were two magnificent, life-sized sculpted paper horses proudly pulling a Greek chariot. Undoubtedly attracting rather a lot of attention, the horses were on display in the cathedral grounds before being put under the hammer and auctioned.
Purchased by Mrs J Goodridge, who kindly donated them to Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, the horses and chariot have made a quick pit-stop here at Barnes of Lincoln, and are currently in the care of one of our Directors, Julian.
From our Lincoln branch, the horses will continue their journey to London, where they will be auctioned before Christmas in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. But if you’d like to make us an offer we can’t refuse for these amazing sculptures, please feel free to contact us as soon as possible. We’ll be delighted to discuss delivery.
